Dr. Jack Cotlar is the former VP and Medical Director of Aviva Life Insurance Company/Indianapolis Life Insurance Company. He currently serves as part-time Medical Director for United Home Life Insurance Companies and as Medical Director for First Financial Resources. Dr. Cotlar is the founder and President of Strategic Medical Consulting, Inc®. He practiced internal medicine for 15 years and is board certified in Insurance Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Cotlar is active in the American Academy of Insurance Medicine (AAIM) and has served on the committee that prepares and administers the insurance medicine board examination. In addition, he was part of the teaching faculty for the Triennial in 2003 and in 2006, AAIM's educational program for Medical Directors.
